Welcome to the Bulls Head Inn at Shap, Cumbria a small family run pub with a warm welcoming atmosphere. We enjoy a busy life all year round being on the edge of the Lake District National Park, on the Coast to Coast footpath and Lands End to John O'Groats cycle route. We offer fine ales, log fires, and excellent home cooked food. We also have the only camp site in the village so we are used to lots of walkers in the bar.

Families and friendly pets are very welcome. Also party bookings catered for either in the bar or restaurant. We can also offer a BBQ service for outdoor parties.

New for this year is the addition of FREE WiFi broadband internet access, this means that anyone with a WiFi laptop can logon for free in the pub. For people without a laptop we have also installed a PC so that our visitors can keep in touch with friends and family or check out the weather forecast for the next days walking.

Our recently installed cash point is also proving a hit with locals and walkers alike.
